 The building sports a traditionally alpine appearance, with little balconies in wood and a frame around it that stands out with its snowed-peaked mountains. As a matter of fact, Kranjska Gora became famous because of the winter sports competitions that would take place on its slopes: it is placed in the Zgornjesavska valley, surrounded by the Julian Alps, only 85 kilometres from Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Access is pretty simple, both from Ljubljana airport and nearby cities in Austria and Italy, Villach and Trieste. |
 Once you reach Kranjska Gora, the apartments are also easy to find, as they stand on the main promenade, in an area full of restaurants and shops. You should ask for the keys to the apartment at Grand Hotel Prisank, a lodging belonging to the same chain right opposite Vitranc. The property works within a building from 1979 that was completely renovated few years ago: it comprises three-star units featuring dining room, kitchen, a chamber with two or three beds, a living area, bathroom and balcony. |
