Its main restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with buffets that consist mainly of Portuguese dishes, though there are also options "á la carte". For the first meal of the day, try the different fruits, croissants and breads, along with sausages, bacon and eggs. |
 What you should not miss is the corner destined for typical Portuguese items: here you will find marmalades, different cheeses, strawberries and the "doces tradicionales de Algarve", sweets that are typical of the Algarve region, from cakes to pastries. The second restaurant, Novo Latino, is a grill and opens only for events. As for the bars, there are 3 within the property: the one at the lounge is called "A Fabrica" and keeps some of the original features of the sardine factory; you can also take a drink by the pool or after a relaxing session of massages at the Health Club. |

 Boca do Rio Resort stands between the cities of Portimão and Lagoa, at a distance of 4 kilometres from each. You can reach the first on the free shuttle boat provided leaving from the hotel: after a 20 minutes voyage, you will come to a city surrounded by paradisiacal beaches (Alvao, Vau, João de Arens are some of them) and old towns (Mexilhoeira Grande and Alvor, for example). As for sports, once you have tried the canoes and kayaks in Boca do Rio, you may reach the golf courses around the inn: Penina is 6 kilometres away, while Pestana is 3,5 kms far. |
