The bungalows are situated in the Rogla Olympic and Ski Centre resort which is some 1517 metres above sea level. It is located some 110km from the capital city of Ljubljana which houses the international airport and around 55km from the Maribor airport that accepts very few international flights. Some 17km away there is the health resort of Terme Zrece. |
By Plane:
The international airport in Ljubljana is around 135km far; many low cost airlines from around Europe fly direct there. To get to the hotel guests can take a taxi to the central train station a few kilometres away in Ljubljana or take an hourly shuttle bus run by ALPETOUR or JP Ljubljanski potniški promet and follow the instructions below by train.
By Train:
The nearest station is Celje which is around 40km away. Many European cities connect with Slovenia through the main central station in Ljubljana, there you can catch LP or IC trains to Celje and they take between an hour and a half to two hours with direct services available and with LP trains you have to change at Zidani Most before continuing on, however you always stay with LP trains when connecting. From there you can take a taxi to the hotel and be there in around 10 minutes. From there you can take a taxi to the hotel and be there in around 10 minutes, there are very few buses that take you to the resort in fact only 8 throughout the whole day, 7:00, 9:30, 11:10, 12:10, 13:10, 14:15, 17:10, 19:25 Celje to Zreče, from the railway station walk right for 300 metres and you will see the bus station on the right.
By Car:
- From Maribor Airport:
Take the motorway A1/E57 in the direction of Ljubljana. Continue on the A1/E57 for 28km. Take the exit for Slovenske Konjice and turn right on local road 686 in the direction of Slovenke Konjice, Zreče - Rogla and follow for 0.3km. After turn left on the local road 430 in the direction of Slovenke Konjice, Zreče - Rogla and continue for 7km. Turn right on local road 701 in the direction of Rogla and continue for 16 km. Our hotel is on the top of the mountain of Rogla on the right-hand side of the road.
- From Ljubljana Airport:
Take the motorway A2/E61. Follow the signs for Celje/ Maribor/ Graz. Follow the motorway A1/ E57. Take the exit for Slovenske Konjice. Turn right on local road 686 in the direction of Slovenke Konjice, Zreče - Rogla follow for 0.3km. From here, follow the directions as above.
- From Graz airport:
Head in the direction of Spielfeld and continue along the A9/E57/E59 for 40km. Head in the direction of Maribor. Continue along the A1/E57/E59 for 11 km. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and continue along the H2/E57/E59 for 10.5 km. Head in the direction of Ljubljana and continue on the A1/E57 for 28km. Take the exit for Slovenske Konjice. Turn right on local road 686 in the direction of Slovenke Konjice, Zreče - Rogla follow for 0.3 km. Turn left on local road 430 in the direction of Slovenke Konjice, Zreče - Rogla and continue for 7km. Turn right on local road 701 in the direction of Rogla and continue for 16km. Our hotel is on the top of the mountain of Rogla on the right-hand side of the road.
- From Klagenfurt airport, Austria:
Head in the direction of Graz, Vienna A2/E59 and continue along for 32km. Take exit 273 for Griffen and turn right towards Lavamünd SLO and follow for 4.5km. Continue on the road B80 in the direction of Slovenia for 24km. Pass Dravograd and turn right in the direction of Mislinja, Velenje and continue for 25 km. Close to Mislinja turn left on local road 431 in the direction of Vitanje and continue for 19km. Close to Stranice, turn left on local road 430 in the direction of Slovenske Konjice, Zreče - Rogla and follow for 2km. Turn right on local road 701 in the direction of Rogla and continue for 16km. Our hotel is on the top of mountain of Rogla on the right-hand side of the road. |
