By Plane:
The international airport Ljubljana-Brnik is approximate 35 km away from the Best Western Kompas hotel. Guests can reach the hotel by taking a taxi or by hiring a car and following the directions below in the driving instructions; it will take around 30 minutes to drive to the hotel. An hourly bus service can take you to the central station, using Alpetour or JP Ljubljanski potniški promet services, where you can catch a train and follow the below instructions.
By Train:
To arrive by train make your way to railway station Lesce-Bled, this is approximately 4km away from the hotel. LP trains depart from Ljubljana central station throughout the day and take around two hours to get to the local station. From the main bus station (across the road), you will have to take Prešernova street, you walk this street for about 800 meters, and then you will come to the Ljubljanska street, turn left (you go down the hill) for about 200 meters, and then you will also see the BW Kompas Hotel Bled, and also a Chinese restaurant is there, you will have to turn left and go with this street (Cankarjeva street) for about 150 meters and you can see our hotel.
By Car:
From the Ljubljana-Brnik airport Departure for Ljubljana-Brnik, centre. Continue straight on for 3.5km and pass by Voglje. Turn right onto the 104 and pass by Sencur after 1.8km. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue along the E61 / A2 for 16km. Take E61 / H1then take E61 / 8 for 6.5km and then turn left onto the 209 passing close to Lesce after 2.0km and then continue along the Ljubljanska Cesta for 0.8km. Arrive in Bled after 1.2km and continue along the Ljubljanska Cesta for 1.1km before turning left into Ulica Narodnih Herojev and you will find the hotel a few hundred metres in front of you. |
