 Among the dishes served by waitresses at your table, indulge in the fresh products grown in the farm next door: eggs, strawberries and other fruits are produced here, and they go directly to your plate, complimented with bread, freshly squeezed juices, home-made jam hot coffee, milk and chocolate.  There is a wide choice of beaches to choose among near Casa Vale del Rei: only 5 minutes by car, you will come to Cabanas, but you may also choose to take boats to the islands facing the coast. In 10 minutes you will arrive in Ilha de Tavira, which is gifted with two paradisiacal beaches, Praia do Barril and Praia da Ilha de Tavira.
Moreover, in downtown Tavira there is a variety of historical sights that are really worth visiting, specially because this city was founded by the Phoenicians in the Late Bonze Age and was under several different dominations afterwards, from the Romans to the Moors. |
