This quaint 18th century building is concealed behind tress and greenery with its wooden window shutters you can liken it closer to a country lodge than a hotel and its inexpensive rooms offer a taste of rustic tinged tranquillity within a low key atmosphere. It has ancient stones steps that lead up to the guest houses that adds a little something extra to your room. All this helps to create an impression of a calm inviting ambience for the guests. |
There are 13 rooms all of which are individually styled and comfortable, making you feel relaxed. Some of the rooms only have use of the bathroom facilities in the corridors. Some rooms have carved wooden chairs and pine headboards, while others have stripy red-and-yellow beds, painted wardrobes and mahogany chests, all adding to the uniqueness of them. The rooms are equipped with heating and cable TV and towels and linen is provided. All are cosy but work and fit well into the general cottage feel of the hotel. Rooms that overlook the splendid garden are available. |
A continental breakfast buffet is laid on every morning for its guests and this can be taken on the patio at the rear of the hotel over looking the garden, it makes for a romantic setting to start your day. The friendly personal service means that you may also get to hear one of the local stories that the owners like to share with their guests. |
