This 18th century building is hidden behind tress and greenery with its wooden window shutters it is a picturesque place that is closer to a country lodge than a hotel and its inexpensive rooms offer a taste of rustic tinged tranquillity. The two star rating of the Haus Wartenberg hotel comes with a 5 star service from the manager and his family and the multilingual staff. They are all happy to help and assist guests with anything that they need and also in the process tell the odd story or two. They really go out of their way to make you feel important and very welcomed indeed. |
The hotel consists of 13 rooms which are all as individual as the last; they have a cosy charm about them that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. There are some ancient stones steps that lead up to the guest houses that adds a little something extra. Some rooms have a garden view as well. Everyday an impressive continental breakfast buffet is served for the guests which is a delightful way to start your day of sight seeing. |
