Facilities within the Property

The Hotel Cult provides a four star service that endeavors to assure comfort to every guest, both at the 80 rooms and at the different common areas. The reception, with staff speaking Spanish, German and English, already gives you a taste of the overall modern decoration and generally contemporary spirit of the lodging.

Black leather sofas are placed right beside the front desk, becoming the ideal place where to rest while your rooms are assigned on your arrival or after a whole day of touring around Frankfurt. Walls painted in soft pink seem to be the perfect setting for the pictures displayed here and all throughout the inn: comic characters, a sort of Andy Warhol style, welcome you while the attendants get your luggage.

The reception counter shows the basics of minimalist decoration, with light colored wood, straight black lines and strands of green. A few chairs in apricot and some plants scattered here and there contribute to create a really friendly atmosphere. However, the most important detail as regards this area in the Hotel Cult is the illumination, thanks to an outstanding light blue lamp on the ceiling and smaller sophisticated ones on top of the front desk and in the center of the room.

The lodging´s staff will provide 24-hour service at the front desk, as well as room service, doctor on call and security patrol around the clock. Baggage storage and secretarial service are also available while 25 parking spaces are provided on request, with an extra cost.

At the ground floor, you will find the garage, the reception and two conference rooms. Meanwhile, at the first floor the breakfast room is located: in an area decorated in dark colors and minimalist lines, a buffet service is displayed, with products such as bread, fruit, and cooked dishes accompanied with orange and apple juice. Different sorts of marmalades, milk and coffee, expresso, cappuccino and tea are also available, while eggs are presented either in their normal shape or scrambled.

The stylish tables overlook the internal patio of the hotel, an area with plenty of greenery that is without any doubt one of the favorite for most visitors, specially on summer nights, when you can enjoy a drink or just breathe in the fresh air. As regards the conference rooms, firms and groups may choose between the bigger one, for 20 or 25 people, or the smaller, for around 15: in either one of them the tables are positioned in a semi circle around a screen and every service needed for business means are disposed for your comfort, from secretarial service to a free connection to the internet. As the hotel has no restaurant of its own, food and drinks can be ordered for large groups to a company that generally provides this service to the inn. Meanwhile, individual guests may ask for meals thanks to a delivery service that is also available at the reception.

The area surrounding the Hotel Cult is surely an attraction in itself, whatever the charms of Frankfurt city centre. One of the landmarks of the Sachsenhausen, the neighborhood where the inn is located, is the Henninger Turm, a grain storage silo placed only 1 kilometer from the front door. Opened in 1961, it is a 33-storey high tower that belongs to the Henninger brewery: the building is capable of storing 16 thousands of barley and is pretty fampus among the local inhabitants as the cycling race "Rund un den Henninger" is held here every year since its inauguration.

If you enjoy this height, don´t miss the other symbol of the district:
the Goethe Tower, measuring 43 meters high and made up of wood, from bottom to top: pine, beech and oak timber are some of the materials. The original structure, which was created at a lower level than the actual one, was built to honor Goethe, but it had to be pulled down after the attacks of the First World War. Today it is also a meeting point for families or locals craving for a day outdoors, as it has a playground and a café. Once you have enjoyed these sights, during the evening the Sachsenhausen neighborhood features a really active nightlife at the Alt Sachsenhausen, an area a bit to the north of the district, near the River Main: tons of pubs, discos and bars have been placed along various small old houses, where beer seems to be the favorite word.

However,
the main street is Schweizer Straβe, a cosmopolitan boulevard that boasts another Frankfurt landmark: the cider houses. "Zum gemalten Haus" and "Wagner" are just two of these traditional factories producing applewine, locally known as "Apfelwein". Other interesting attractions near the hotel are the Modern Art Museum and the Zoo, both placed at 1,5 kilometers from your room. The U-Bahn metro lines U1, U2 and U3 will easily lead you to the centre of the city, and in a few minutes you will reach the Alte Oper, built in 1880 and working as a concert hall now; the Römer, Frankfurt´s town hall; and all sort of amazing visits at the other side of the Main.
