By plane:
The Lisbon Airport is only 5.5 kilometres from the city, therefore a taxi won`t be that expensive (no more than 15.00 Eur) if you don`t want to carry the luggage on any of the means of public transport, and a journey by car doesn`t take more than 15 minutes. Flights from all over the world arrive to this terminal daily.
By car:
From the airport follow the signs to the Segunda Circular Highway. Take the exit to Campo Grande. Then go along Republica Avenue towards Saldanha Square. Take the Fontes Pereira de Melo Avenue towards the Marques de Pombal roundabout, and here take the fourth exit: The Dom Carlos Park Hotel is placed right in the very beginning of the Duque de Loulé Avenue.
An alternative way to reach the lodging is to leave the airport and at the roundabout, take the third exit to Almirante Gago Coutinho Avenue. Then, turn right into Rua Febo Moniz, again in Largo de Santa Bárbara, and go along Rua Jacinto Marto. Afterwards, take Rua Joaquim Bonifacio and Rua do Conde de Redondo. Turn right into Rua Alexandre Herculano and again, in Rua Rodriguez Sampaio. Finally, turn right into Duque de Loulé Avenue and you will see the hotel.
By bus:
The metro and the train systems don´t reach the airport, therefore you can take a bus towards Praça Marques de Pombal. The lines 91, 83, 44, 45 and 22 will leave you here: then just walk along the Duque de Loulé Avenue and you will find the hotel a few metres ahead. |
