 At Hotel Larix you will be staying right on the ski slopes of Kranjska Gora, a destiny in Slovenia that became famous due to the various winter sports competitions held in its trails. The first inhabitants came from Borovlje, and later one it became part of the counts of Briksen and Ortenburg. In 1431, when the land was owned by the Counts of Celje, a castle known as Bela pec was built by Count Frederick II. Once you know the slopes by heart you can try other activities related to snow, like the trekking tracks, the iced waterfalls or the night tours.
