 At Hotel Rural Monte do Carmo there are all sorts of facilities so that you do not need to get out of the property during your holidays. The breakfast is served in the restaurant - either as a buffet or a continental meal, depending on the number of guests - containing milk, coffee, tea, ham and cheese, sweets, marmalade and croissants. Then, you may have lunch or dinner here: the restaurant served Portuguese cuisine, though there are also specialties from Alentejo. |
 The property also features a biological swimming pool that is open all year, a honesty bar and three common areas where you can spend your leisure time: the meeting area, the games room and the tv room. At any of these facilities, a modern design and minimalist details stand side by side with wooden beams and the rustic walls of the houses, just as it happened inside the guestrooms. The reception desk is open from 8 am to midnight, and you will find staff speaking English, French and Spanish. |

| Your first "mini tour" once you reach Hotel Rural Monte do Carmo must be the little chapel honouring Senhora do Carmo. This temple built around 1750 still preserves some of its original paintings and details, and every last Saturday of the month mass is held here. There are various activities planned for the guests outdoors too: you can enjoy wonderful walks in the countryside, go canoeing and karting, or even ride horses or motorbikes. In addition to this, you can visit Evoramonte Castle, a fortress from the 12th century placed in one of the higher points in all Serra da Ossa, where the inn is also located. |
