By plane:
The airport in Lisbon -an international terminal- is placed 145 kilometres from Azaruja: it will take you around 1 hour and a half to reach this town by car. From the air terminal you can also find connections by public transport to the centre of the capital city, and then travel by train to Evora.
By car:
As you leave the airport in Lisbon, take road E01 driving towards Exit 14 and A12 afterwards. Continue along IC17 and E90/IP1 before going in the direction "Exit 7/ Espanha/ Evora". Drive along E90/A6/IP7 and you will pass the towns of Vendas Novas and Montemor-o-Novo. Get off at "Exit 4/ N4/ Montemor/ Arraiolos" and stay on road N4 till after Arraiolos. Turn right and you will arrive in Aldeia de Vale do Pereiro before coming to Azaruja. Once there, follow the signs indicating "Hotel - Ermida Na Sra do Carmo" and around 1 kilometre later, you will arrive in the property.
By train:
On your arrival at Lisbon airport you can take bus number 44 up to Oriente train station and then a train to Evora (the latter is a 2 hours journey); from Evora -a town placed 20 kilometres from the property- you must take a taxi to the hotel, as there are no means of public transportation in the area. |
