How To Reach Us

By plane: The main airport in Slovenia is the one placed close to its capital city, Ljubljana airport, in the area of Brnik, around 135 kilometres from Rogaška Slatina. Here services leave towards London, Frankfurt and Vienna among many other cities in Europe on a regular basis, and the terminal is really easy to reach from downtown Ljubljana.

By car: If your plane lands in Ljubljana airport, take road 639 and as you come to a town named Vodice, turn right in 413. Next, you must veer left into motorway E61/A2 and pass through the city of Ljubljana. Afterwards drive onto highway H3 and drive in the direction "Gradec/ Graz/ Maribor/ Celje/ Ljubljana-Sneberje", before going along A1 for 75 kilometres. Get off at the exit Dramlje, and after you cross another town, Sentjur, take your left into road 107. Turn right into 685 and the next town after Tekacevo is Rogaška Slatina. Hotel Slovenija is easily found on the main square, on Stritarjeva 1. (2 hours).

By train: At Ljubljana airport you can catch the buses going to the capital city every hour -take into account that this service does not work during the night-: you will arrive in Ljubljana in around 45 minutes (tickets can be acquired on the bus or at the bus station). Another possibility is to take these buses up to the railway station in downtown and afterwards another train to Rogaška: these connections take around 2 hours 20 minutes, with a change of trains at Celje. Bear in mind that from several points in Europe you can also get pretty direct connections to Ljubljana: for example, if you come from Italy (Trieste is placed 300 kilometres away) you can catch a train at Venice and get to Ljubljana in 4 hours; meanwhile, Zagreb in Croatia is connected to Ljubljana by train in only 2 hours and a half.
