By Plane The airport that serves the many summer resorts in Algarve is Faro International, placed around 90 kilometres from the property: this terminal welcomes flights from Lisbon (a 45 minutes trip) along with other cities in Europe -Frankfurt, Madrid and London, for instance-. It is easy to reach Lagos on public transport, because an Aerobus shuttle service reaches the train station in Faro in 25 minutes and from there you can get to Lagos by train or bus.
By Car If your plane lands at the airport in Faro, drive straight along road EN 125 towards Portimão/Lagos. After around 5 kms, get on highway A22 or "Via do Infante", following the signs to Lisboa/ Portimão/ Albufeira. Get off at the exit "Lagos Oeste/ Vila do Obispo" and continue up to the second roundabout. Here you must veer left in the direction Lagos and drive straight till you come to a streetlight. Turn right, stay on this track up to the end of the street (you will see the Vila Branca Apartments) and take your right again. By now you will be driving along Rua Santa Casa da Misericordia: 500 metres ahead, Hotel Solar de Mòs comes into view on your left hand side (This journey will take you around 1 hour).
By Train At the terminal in Faro you will find buses going to Faro`s bus terminal in 25 minutes; afterwards you may take a train or a bus to Lagos (both means of transport take around 2 hours). Once at the station in Lagos, get on a taxi and within 5 to 10 minutes you will be at the hotel. Take into account that a number of services by bus and train depart from Lagos to Lisbon daily: in the first case the length of the journey is of around 7 hours, and in the second, 5 hours (you will have to change trains at Tunes). |
