Profile

This hotel in the district Berlin-Mitte was opened as a hotel in 2006, after a complete renovation directed by Austrian architect Johanne Nalbach. The building was originally created in 1910 and had many functions since then, from government agency to bank, but nowadays it houses a recreation of the most important stock exchange in the world, in a functional, clear design that assures a relaxing stay with all the guests` needs covered.

Its most extravagant detail is without any doubt the image of the one dollar bill right below your feet, with George Washington`s famous portrait going from one end of the bedroom to the other. Its guestrooms are air conditioned and equipped with various devices, from hair dryer and flat screen television to access to the Internet and music and movies on demand. For guests on business terms, at the executive rooms you will find two ideal compliments for a working day: the newspaper and mineral water.

A metro station placed opposite the Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin adds another comfort: having the sightseeing musts of the city right on your doorstep. Anyway, there are many sites to visit within walking distance from the hotel, such as the Nikolai-Viertel, the historic centre of the German capital; the Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz.

This four star deluxe hotel is placed in what used to be the western frontier of the Eastern government during the Cold War: no wonder "mitte" stands for "middle". As a consequence, you will have both faces of the division pretty near to your room: meanwhile, the Tempelhof Airport is in 8 kilometres distance, and the Tegel (TXL) 12 km and Schönefeld (SXF) just 20 kilometres away.
