 The Pousada over looks the river Sado in a vast green valley in Alcácer do Sal some 50 km south of Setúbal and around 90 km from Lisbon. The Pousada overlooks a valley where pine nuts, cork and rice are produced and many ruins can be found from different periods such as Roman, Arab and Phoenician. The castle where it is set is over 1000 years old and with the wonderful sights and setting the place is ideal for relaxing and taking some time out to enjoy life. |
 The Pousada can offer different rooms and suites to its guests that are well decorated and equipped for modern living. There is also a swimming pool for guests that have complimentary sun beds and sun shades.
