By Plane
The Faro airport takes flights from some international airports in Europe and is only 45 minutes connection from the international airport of Lisbon. From the airport there are regular buses taking you to the main central station where trains and buses can be taken to various destination in the area. The hotel is around 20 km away and can be reached by renting a car and following the below instructions .
By Train - Bus
If you are coming from Lisbon it takes around 5 hours using the Alfa Pendular, Intercity and Regional train services to Tavira station. This is the nearest station but the hotel is still around 20 km away so you will need to take a taxi. From Faro airport catch a bus to the Faro central station where you can take a bus to reach in Tavira. From Tavira you can take the local bus in direction to Loulè and your stop is São Brás de Alportel.
By Car
From Faro international airport use the N125-10 Montenegro and then take the N2 all the way into São Brás de Alportel, when the road on the N2 changes names to R. Joao Rosa Beatriz just after a big roundabout where you turn right at that is the road where the hotel is near, after about 0.5km turn right on to Lgo. de Sao Sebastiae then second right on to Rue Gago Coutinha, follow till the end of the road and turn right and the hotel is just on the right a few metres up. It is only a 20 minute journey. It is also sign posted. To arrive from the north just follow the N2 all the way down or use the A2/E01 all the way down to the A22 and follow the Faro airport direction until the junction with the N2 which is south of São Brás de Alportel and follow as above. |
