By Plane Lisbon International Airport is accessible from all the major European airports and from there you can connect with the Metro system using the shuttle bus service to Cais do Sodré which connects to the entire Metro network and over ground networks as well. The nearest over ground train station is Oriente at 1 km away from the airport and is accessible via taxi. The hotel is about 120 km from the Lisbon airport so rent a car and follow as below or make your way to Oriente station by taxi and follow instructions by train as below.
By Train To arrive by train you need to leave from Oriente station which is 1km from the Lisbon airport so take a taxi, from there take a train to Evora station using intercity trains. The journey is just over two hours and from there the Pousada is 25km away, you will need to take a taxi. There are three services a day, one morning, one afternoon and one early evening.
By Car From Lisbon airport take the E1 south and continue along the E1/IP7 then take the exit towards Algarve and take E1/IP1/A2 then take exit 8 and go along the IC1 toward Algarve. That goes into the N253 and after a few km turn on to the N5, after around 30km turn on to the N2 which takes you into the Torrão and on Rue de Beja, follow the signs to the hotel from the Rue, it is out of the way into the countryside but will only take a few minutes to reach. From the south you can approach using the IC1 or IP1 which joins the IP8, go east from there and then the IP8 connects with the N2 which you can then follow north in to Torrão and where the hotel is situated by the Vale do Gaio Dam. Just follow the sign posts. From the east use the IP8 and follow as above. |
