By Plane
Quinta dos Poetas is placed around 15 kilometres from the international airport in Algarve, called Faro. This terminal welcomes flights from Lisbon - that take around 45 minutes and leave several times a day- and from many cities in Europe.
By Car
From the terminal in Faro, veer right into motorway IC4/N125 and you will reach a roundabout: go along the second exit, Estrada 125, up to a new roundabout. At the latter, drive along the third exit into Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian. You will pass the city of Faro and at a third roundabout, Place Dos Bombeiros de Faro, you must take the fourth exit into Avenida Cidade de Hayward. This track will lead you to a new roundabout, where you have to get back on motorway N125. You will soon arrive in Pechão, and the signs indicating the location of Quinta dos Poetas lead the way to the property. (15 minutes drive, approx.)
By Train
There is no public transport reaching the surroundings of the property, therefore you should rent a car at Faro airport or at the closest railway station, Olhão (8 kms far from Quinta dos Poetas). If your plane lands in Lisbon, there are regular services reaching Olhão`s railway station in almost 4 hours, as well as connections that make a stop first in Faro. The owners of Quinta dos Poetas advise guests to take a taxi at Olhão`s train station and reach the property this way, in case you decide not to rent a car. |
