By Plane
Faro international airport is located 35 kilometres east from Albufeira. It welcomes flights from the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, (it is a 45 minutes trip)along with others from many cities in Europe (Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, for example).

By Car
Residencial Vila Recife is placed 46 kms from Faro international airport (a 35 minutes drive, more or less). When you come out of the terminal, get on road N125-10 and veer right at motorway A22 towards Lisboa/ Albufeira. Get off at exit 9 "N395/ Albufeira/ Guia" and continue along IC1. As you approach Ferreiras, drive along N125 and take your right at En 125 Acessos. You will reach a first roundabout, where you must take the first exit into N395; past the town of Alpouvar, at a second roundabout go along Avenida dos Descobrimentos; finally turn left in Avenida do Ténis and you will come to Albufeira. Here you have to veer left at Rua Doutor Diogo Leote, go along Largo Jacinto D`Ayet and turn right at Ria Miguel Lombarda, where the hotel stands on number 12.

By Train
If you do not rent a car at Faro airport, you can take the buses that reach Faro`s bus terminal in 25 minutes; afterwards, get on another bus to Albufeira (they leave you off at Caliços central station after 45 minutes, more or less). Once there, you may take a bus or a taxi to Vila Recife: there are 3 lines (green, blue and red) going around the city, and all of them reach the Old Town, where the hotel is located.

In case you come from Lisbon, trains get to Ferreiras railway station in Albufeira on a daily basis (the journey takes 3 hours).
