By Plane
At Algarve there is an international airport, Faro, placed 35 kilometres east from Albufeira. It has connections to Lisbon (a 45 minutes trip) and Paris (2 hours), as well as many other cities in Europe (Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt).
By Car
Faro International airport is located 39 kilometres from Residencial Santa Eulalia (a 30 minutes drive, approx.). As you leave the terminal, take road N125-10 and turn right at IC4, driving towards Lisboa/ Albufeira. Continue along E01/A22/IP1, direction "Norte e Oeste/ Loulé-centro" before getting off at Exit 11 "N125/ Boliqueime". Drive along A22 Acessos and road N270, pass Poço de Boliqueime and take N125. As you approach Ferreiras, veer left into En125 and when you come to Monte Choro, take Rua Teixeira Gomes and Estrada de Santa Eulalia up to number 215, where the property comes into view.
By Train - Bus
At Faro airport you can take buses reaching Faro`s bus terminal in 25 minutes; then you may get on another bus towards Albufeira (Caliços central station), this trip taking around 45 minutes. Once there, there are buses and taxis reaching Santa Eulalia: there is even a bus stop 100 metres from the property, and you can easily get on any of the 3 lines (green, blue and red) of the city bus system. From Lisbon, trains depart to Ferreiras railway station in Albufeira (this journey lasts around 3 hours) on a regular basis: the station is placed approximately 10 km from Residencial Santa Eulalia, and you may take a taxi or the bus to reach it. |
