The place where you will surely spend most of the time in Vila Mòs is the swimming pool area, featuring two pools, one for kids and another for adults, and a solarium with sunbeds that tempt those seeking a relaxing moment. In order to make the most of this leisure time, a bar service is provided at the solarium, so that you do not need to get up from your sun bed to get a refreshment.

In spite of comprising apartments, Vila Mòs provides a four-star service: the reception is open 24 hours a day with staff speaking Portuguese, English, Spanish and German, and babysitting, car hire and information on excursions are at your disposal. At Vila Mòs there is also a tennis court, a small health club with gym and sauna and water sports that are organised in summer time.

In addition to this, the restaurant of the property offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner (guests can arrange a half-board system for your meals): in case you do not feel like cooking during your holidays, you can have snacks at midday or choose among the dishes of international cuisine from a buffet set during the evenings.

The beaches of Porto de Mòs are among the most visited in the south of Portugal: you will reach them in only 2 minutes walking and this is evidently an advantage, though you should bear in mind that there are other destinies worth visiting too, from the sands of Ponta da Piedade to Dona Maria. In order to reach the beach, take Estrada de Porto Mòs, with plenty of restaurants and tourist facilities, and you will come to the seashore. However, as much as the idea of sunbathing may tempt you, bear in mind that in Lagos there are cultural sights to include in your agenda. The city was born as a fishing village, named "Lacobriga" by the Celts that first set foot there in 2000 b.C.. But afterwards, it would develop into a prosperous urban site during the times of the Discoveries.
