How To Reach Us

By plane: The main airport serving the many summer resorts of Algarve is Faro: this is an international terminal welcoming flights from Lisbon (45 minutes trip) as well as other cities in Europe such as Frankfurt, Madrid and London. You can easily reach Lagos on public transport, as an Aerobus shuttle service reaches the train station in central Faro in 25 minutes.

By car: At the airport in Faro, go straight till you see the signs to Portimão. Afterwards, get on highway A22 or "Via do Infante", following in this case the signs to Lagos. Get off at the exit "Lagos" and continue towards Intermarche hypermarket. You will soon come to a roundabout with a big black ball in the centre, where you must veer right and drive straight towards the beaches of Porto de Mós. Motel Ancora comes into view on your left hand side, before Rua Doctor Nataniel Costa. (This 90 kilometres journey will take you around 1 hour).

By train: From Faro airport there are buses reaching Faro`s bus terminal in 25 minutes; you can then get on a train or a bus to Lagos (they both take around 2 hours to reach their destiny). At the station in Lagos you can take a taxi and in 5 minutes you will be at the hotel. Bear in mind that there are several daily services by bus and train departing from Lagos to Lisbon: in the first case they take around 7 hours, and in the second, 5 hours (you must change trains at Tunes).
